Sunday, September 15, 2019 - 10:30am to 1:30pm

You there, adventurer! Have you heard? There are murmurs in certain circles that the Guild of Heroes is seeking initiates to join their cause. They are in need of the most courageous, tenacious, and dedicated adventurers, for their quest is one both daunting and noble. The Guild has chosen to stand for good. They need your help to protect the world from the forces of chaos (and gain mad loot). Heed the call and write your place in history!

A pile of pokéballs
Sunday, September 22, 2019 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

A Pokémon club for all levels of play! All participants will need a Pokémon deck - kids can either bring their own or purchase a starter deck at the store. A good starting deck should be 60 cards, including around 20 cards each of energies, pokémon, and trainers, with about two different types of pokémon. This is an event recommended for ages 6 to 10.

All participants need to be able to read and do basic math. There will be a simple reading/math test for all participants prior to their first time attending the class.

Some favorite games include Forbidden Island, Catan Junior, Sleeping Queens, Camel Up, Splendor, Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters, and many more. We have hundreds of games to choose from, and our staff is always excited to teach the kids some of our new arrivals. Kids can also play with our large selection of puzzles and Legos.

Saturday, September 21, 2019 - 12:00pm to 8:00pm

Help local game designers test their new games! Come join Break My Game at Labyrinth Games and Puzzles for a full day of free gaming! The games we will play are games that are still under development. You will get to be one of the first ones to try them out! Never play tested before? Never fear! Play testing is easy. We will have the designers of the games on hand to teach you how to play each game. At the end of playing, you can give feedback to the designers to help make their game better.

Wednesday, September 11, 2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Wednesday, September 25, 2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Come play Mah Jong with the Capitol Hill Village on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month!  This event is appropriate for more experienced players who enjoy a competitive atmosphere.

We play Basic Chinese Mah Jong.

What is Basic Chinese Mah Jong?  it is a game for four players, that is nothing like the computer Mah Jong solitare game.  The game that it most resembles is Gin Rummy, but it has so many nuances that distinguish it from the card game.

Want to learn?  We also host beginner/casual Mah Jong every Wednesday from 10am to 11am!
