Description:

“Hey, good set!” is something comedians say to each other but this time we’re not just talking about jokes (but don’t worry, there will be a lot). By fate, three comedians discovered one night that they were all huge fans of the visual puzzle game SET. “Good set” took on a whole new meaning and it became clear it was no coincidence. Join three of DC’s funniest SET-enthusiasts for game play of all levels. Easy to learn, hard to win, SET is fast-paced and accessible. Players will decide material for the comedians to cover and enjoy original comedy sets from some of the city’s fastest rising comedians throughout gameplay. Laugh, play, and have a good set!

The comedians are: Camille Roberts, Kasha Patel, and Pearl Rose.

Camille Roberts: An emerging DC-based comedian recently up at Laughs Unlimited, Richmond Funnybone, and the DC Drafthouse. She performs regularly all around the DMV.

Kasha Patel: Recently named in Thrillist’s Best Undiscovered Comedians from Every State (representing West Virginia) Kasha is now based in DC as a stand-up comedian, writer and on-screen personality. She is the founder of “DC Science Comedy”, has been featured in the Washington Post, hosted a mini-series on NASA TV and appeared on the Travel Channel’s “Mysteries at the Museum”. She has performed across the country and opened for headliners such as Vir Das, Christian Finnegan and Natasha Leggero.

Pearl Rose: Originally from Minnesota, Pearl performs regularly at DC comedy clubs, opening for national headliners such as Joe List, Carmen Lynch, and Jon Dore. Pearl has also performed at several comedy festivals, including the Underground Comedy Festival and the Kennedy Center’s District of Laughs Comedy Festival. Pearl has been featured in the Washington Post’s The Lily.
