Special Celebration of Gaming Intro to RPGs: Paranoia!

Wednesday, July 31, 2019 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Labyrinth Games & Puzzles

645 Pennsylvania Ave SE
Washington, DC 20003

Labyrinth is thrilled to announce this very special, beginner-friendly introduction to the roleplaying game, Paranoia. This event will be led by staff member Tim, who we suspect may actually be a computer.

Welcome to Alpha Complex! You have been selected to serve Friend Computer in the prestigious role of Troubleshooter for the duration of Labyrinth's Celebration of Gaming's RPG night. Your work will include rooting out terrorists and Commie traitors, and shooting anything that Friend Computer deems to be trouble.

We hope that you will find your new job fulfilling and fun!

Remember, fun is mandatory. Anyone found to not be having fun will be subject to immediate corrective action.

Completely rebuilt from the ground up, Paranoia is the classic RPG of a darkly humorous future, rebooted for a humorously dark present. All-new mechanics include a simple yet brilliant character-generation system, a bluffing-based card-driven combat system that encourages creativity, clever moves and lying, a special Computer Dice which means even the simplest interaction can become hilariously fatal.

The cost for this event is just $10 per person, and space is limited.

Due to the nature of RPGs, please plan to arrive ten minutes before the starting time so that the game can begin promptly at 6pm. If you show up late, the adventure may begin without you.

This is an adventure for people 16 years and older.  If you are younger than 16 and would like to join us for RPGs, check out our awesome monthly Guild of Heroes D&D adventures.

Preregistration for this event has closed. Please call the store at 202-544-1059 if you have any questions.
