Labyrinth Games & Puzzles

645 Pennsylvania Ave SE
Washington, DC 20003

According to Fantasy Flight's website, "KeyForge is a Unique Deck Game from the imagination of Richard Garfield that invites you to enter the Crucible, an artificial world where anything is possible. Here, you become a mighty Archon racing to unlock the Crucible’s hidden vaults and doing battle with one-of-a-kind decks, each filled with pieces of the countless planets and civilizations that make up this world. By using the creatures, artifacts, and abilities within your deck, you can stave off your opponent, gather Æmber, and use this crucial component to forge keys that will unlock the vaults. The first Archon to forge three keys earns victory!"

For an Archon tournament, each player will be bringing their own decks. Dig through your archives and pull out the most powerful deck you have! (You may only use decks from the Worlds Collide set) This 16 person tournament will be four 45 minute single game rounds. This is a shorter, one-game version of the Adaptive variant, in which players immediately go to deck selection. If each player chooses the deck they brought, they play a regular match. If both players choose their opponent's deck, they play a Reversal match. If both players choose the same deck, they bid chains as in the third game of an Adaptive match. To participate in this event, you will be required to register an account with the KeyForge Master Vault. There are apps for both iOS and Android. Experienced and novice players are welcome.

This will be a Chainbound event. That means the performance of your decks will be reported to the Keyforge Master Vault. This gives you a chance to earn chains, qualifying you for competitive events, or aembershards, redeemable for special KeyForge prizes!

Preregistration for this event has closed. Please call the store at 202-544-1059 if you have any questions.
